Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to your hotel for a day of relaxation. Discover the history and vibrant culture of Kenya’s capital, originally established as a railway depot and now a melting pot of diverse communities.
After breakfast, journey north past the equator to Samburu, home to the unique Samburu Five—Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, and Gerenuk. Stop in Isiolo village to meet local tribespeople, then proceed to the lodge for lunch. An evening game drive introduces the arid beauty of this reserve. Lunch: En route
Start early with a game drive, capturing Samburu’s stark beauty and its unique wildlife. After lunch, head out again to track predators and observe crocodiles basking along the Ewaso Nyiro River.
Traverse rugged terrain to Marsabit, an extinct volcanic peak surrounded by forests. After lunch, visit Marsabit National Park, known for its serene crater lakes.
