Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be met by a representative from Africa Journeys Escapes and transferred to the luxurious Movenpick Hotel for an overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time, you can opt for a variety of exciting Nairobi excursions. Rest up and get ready for the adventure ahead!
After breakfast, we head out for the scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at the viewpoint for some stunning photo opportunities. The journey to Lake Naivasha takes about 1.5-2 hours, depending on the stops along the way. Once we arrive, enjoy a boat ride on the lake for approximately 1.5 hours, followed by a relaxing lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. After lunch, take a short siesta and then enjoy an afternoon guided walk on Crescent Island, where you’ll encounter giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, surrounded by the beauty of the African savanna.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, passing through the vibrant Maasai town of Narok. Arriving in the afternoon, you’ll check into Soroi Mara Bush Camp, a luxurious safari camp nestled in the heart of the Mara. After settling in, head out for an afternoon game drive to catch the first glimpse of the wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Soroi Mara Bush Camp.
