RTT-PC002 - Uganda Gorilla Escape

Approx. 8 hours Arriving at the airport you will be warmly welcomed by your Rift & Tide Africa representative. From Kampala you will begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will stop en route to look at the Royal Drum makers, see the Equator where you can stand in both hemispheres simultaneously. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs.

Bwindi is dense, ancient and deeply atmospheric, with gorilla trekking shaped by permit timing, forest conditions and the movement of the gorilla families.

The day is paced to balance experience, comfort and practical timing, with room for the guide to adjust around conditions on the ground.

Tual trek times can vary; these are wild animals after all. If time permits there are a diverse range of activities which are unique to Bwindi which you can participate in during the afternoon. All meals included and overnight at Mahogany Springs.
